When Your 'Turn Up' Weekend Goes Wrong...

When your are working hard daily on your fitness goals, the last thing you want to do is lose it.  You've probably worked hard all week, and you're looking forward to the weekend to unwind and have a great time with friends at the bar, lounge or nightclub.  There's nothing wrong with that, is it?  Of course not, but it's so easy to pack back on those pounds that you worked hard to shred off all in one night.

Think about it.  One 10 oz margarita is 550 calories.  If you are drinking 3 - 5 cups of 10 oz margaritas, just by you drinking alone, you have packed on 1650 - 2750 calories.  Afterwards, you may go out to eat at a late night spot like Waffle House.  Unless you are eating a salad, mostly everything on the menu is between 650 - 1300 calories, which usually doesn't include any add-ons to the meals.  The total calories from just one night of fun between 1650 to 4050 calories.  This is an insane amount of calories that you may be placing in your body, throwing off your metabolism, making you feel horrible the next day.  But like with everything else, when there's a will, there's a way! Here's some way to better plan your fun night out with friends without going over your caloric intake.

Try this!
  1. Eat a light breakfast
  2. Drink  2 cups ginger tea.
  3. Eat a protein filled meal with vegetables
  4. Drink 100 -120 oz of water.
  5. Choose alcoholic beverages that are lighter in calories.
  6. Prep a light dinner at home instead of eating while out.

To prevent hangovers, try this great supplement by 1st Phorm called Remedy that's just for those fun nights that you don't want to regret in the morning. This supplement should only be taken when needed, and will help you feel refreshed the morning after you have one too many, while cleansing your body of all of the toxins that you've taken in from the alcohol.

For your next night out, planning accordingly just wouldn't be a bad idea, once you take in consideration the large amount of calories that you have taken in in the order of a few hours of fun. All you need is to do is to follow those 6 steps, so you can keep your beautiful gains and your waistline!
